Screed For Acoustic Timber Floors

Acoustic liquid flowing screeds for timber floors are used where there is a need to reduce sound travel between floors.  A typical floor build up would be:

Timber Joists
Timber OSB boards – sometimes with acoustic properties

Insulation or acoustic layer if required.

40mm Acoustic liquid flowing screed, 50mm if underfloor heating is being installed.

If the building is maintained at 20 Degrees C based on 50mm depth the floor will reach 60% RH at 28 days.

      • Foot traffic: 48 hours
      • Loading: 7 days

Midland Flooring can supply and install the timber acoustic floor, insulation, underfloor heating and the Acoustic liquid flowing screed.
